Basically I was just about re-organizing my external drives, when I discovered something I had written in 2011. About vampires. Something I find worth publishing. Enjoy.
In those humid summer nights in a big city, drifting in and out of semi-consciousness rather than "sleeping", I suddenly realized I'm not alone in my room.
Senses hightened by danger, I hardly dared to move - a Vampire!
Either drunk from my blood already - or by the perspective enjoying it any second - it got a bit careless, I could make out its faint outline in the gloom created by the streetlight outside .... and it was over in a split-second.
"Sucker!" I mumbled before I returned to slumber, intending to leave the sad remains of my attacker glued to the wall, as a warning sign to all other #vampires who might dare to disturb my sleep...
A few nights passed, then this happened:
Getting up, still grumpy because of my unsuccessful attempt the previous night to track down and kill one of this blood sucking bastards – when they attack me first, it's sort-of self-defense, right? - I was quite surprised to find a #vampire lying dead on my living room floor.
WTF?
While trying to remember what happened – had I been drinking last night? A strange case of sleepwalking? - I decided not to remove the sad remains right away, but to make coffee, sit down and enjoy the view a little bit more; hoping this was indeed the sucker to blame for my wounded knee... and if it turns out not being the case, I'm going to find'em, kill'em, every single one of'em.
After breakfast.
PS: There are many clues in the texts which kind of "vampires" I was writing about :)
